Mont du Lac des Cygnes, Autumn Edition
Mont du Lac des Cygnes is an amazing hike located in the Charlevoix region of Quebec. More specifically, it is situated in Grand-Jardins national park.
The hike is considered to be moderate, and it starts with a wide trail surrounded by the beautiful forest and views. From Lake Georges, the trail starts to become narrow, leading to wooden shelter structures in the wood that is mostly used during the .
The trail is well marked and maintained, and particularly beautiful during Autumn, with the colorful trees surrounding the vast landscape that makes it a favorite for those who love this .
From the lake to the top, and whatever the season is, hiking poles are a must. The end starts with a summit push and leads to a magnificent 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains.

The best times to hike this mountain during Autumn are from September through October, though the colors are significantly reduced and frost appears during the last 2 weeks.
The full trail consists of a 9 Km back and forth which includes a 200 meters summit push to reach the top.
The mountain is usually windy at the top, so windproof jackets and good protective gears are recommended.
